Plans for an oikological philosophy

Sepp´s philosophical oikology constitutes a phenomenological reflexion on the genesis of the house. In this regard it underlines the relevance of the question for the where of thought by contrast to the importance that the tradition concedes to the what and the how. The genealogical approach remarks the bond between the sedentary becoming of mankind and the seeks for a ultimate ground that characterizes the Western thought. The settlement of a house implies the delimitation of the space by virtue of the measure. The measurement is a imaginary action but their consequences are real. In first place it traces a line between an inner and an outer sphere. As result of that the measure sets the conditions for the development of private property and the associated fear of their lost. At the same time the measure tends to excess its own boundaries. Therefore the outer sphere is defined by an inner measure that becomes an universal parameter. In the excess that characterizes every measure lies the germ of the conquer and submission of alterity. By contrast the author proposes to assume that measure on earth is as necessary as contigent.
